WA was called upon by inter-nationally recognized architectural firm HOK as the Associate Architect to provide architectural construction documents for the entire exterior skin of the Queen City Square East office tower project. Located on the corner of Third and Broadway, known as Cincinnati’s “Financial District,” The Phase I tower and pre-cursor to the Great American Tower complex; consists of 3 stories of underground parking included in the 8 story parking garage; and 8 stories of offices comprising 375,000 sf. Phase I was completed in 2005.
The design of this facility included exterior cladding of materials such as stone-faced precast panels, aluminum composite panel, and curtain wall glazing. WA completed the Construction Documents including the detailing for the entire core, shell and roof of the building.
