Healthcare Architect
Full-time – St Louis, Missouri
We are currently seeking a Full Time Healthcare Architect to join our team at WA Architects in our St. Louis Studio. As Healthcare Architect, you are responsible for exercising independent judgment in evaluation, selection, and use of standard techniques. WA Architects is a drug-free workplace. Leadership
• Leads team in planning work and developing solutions to technical and design detail problems.
• Responsible for establishing, maintaining and adherence to project budget and schedule.
• Prepares client presentations and presents design concepts and drawings.
• Assures WA Architects document standards are met and archives documents appropriately.
Client Interface
• Communicates with client representatives to verify design requirements and specifications, progress reviews and delivery of final presentation.
• Licensed Architect preferred but not a requirement.
Teamwork
• Analyzes and develops approaches to the creation and modification of architectural documents, elevations, sections, details, specifications, etc. ensuring the incorporation of design intent.
• Attends on-site visits, field reviews and project meetings and documents appropriately. Prepares, coordinates and reviews the schedules, submission of shop drawings and samples.
• Responsible for communication with other disciplines, vendors, and contractors to ensure incorporation of all information into project requirements and provide support as necessary.
• Participates in project reviews regarding project costs, budgets and adherence to schedule.
• Communicates in a clear, concise, and professional manner at all times, both verbally and in writing and will have regular interface with clients.
Required Skills
• Proficiency in Revit preferred as well as advanced knowledge of sustainability, integrated design and LEED guidelines.
• Advanced knowledge of building codes and ability to research and apply/incorporate into technical documents.
Required Experience
• Bachelor’s degree in architecture or equivalent in education or experience required. Master’s degree preferred. Architect with 5-10 years of experience.
• Medical Planning Experience a plus!
• Revit skill required

Project Coordinator (Revit)
Full-time – St Louis, Missouri
We are currently seeking a Project Coordinator in our St Louis Studio to join our team at WA Architects. We have a friendly culture, excellent compensation, personable management, and an opportunity to work on creative projects is a plus! As a Project Coordinator, you will be responsible for assisting the Project Architect with the preparation of documents, the coordination of documents with consultants, and for assisting other team members.
Responsibilities:
• Must obtain a solid understanding of construction documentation, construction administration, and have the ability to coordinate this information with other team members
• Assists the Project Architect with the architectural design process from conceptual design through the completion of the project
• Completes architectural design drawings
• Completes construction drawings
• Makes redline changes and revisions to project drawings
• Develops presentation graphics used to communicate concepts to clients or for agency approval
• Assists the Project Architect in developing presentations to potential clients
• Develops alternative solutions to project challenges under direction of the Project Manager and Project Architect
• Attends all required or assigned training sessions
• Miscellaneous duties as they may arise
• Occasional travel as needed
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture (Master’s degree a plus)
• Working towards architectural registration
• Minimum 2-5 years’ professional experience in Architecture using Revit
• Excellent communication skills (oral and written)
• Ability to effectively interact with clients and consultant
• Ability to problem solve effectively
• Must be detail-oriented and able to multi-task
• Must possess good time-management skills
